Which way does this adapter go?

This lead has the 12V socket (female) on one end. Plug the Anderson end into your power source, then plug your 12V accessory into the socket. If you want the reverse (a 12V plug that goes INTO a socket and gives you an Anderson outlet), see our male version with the built-in 20A fuse.

Will it work with the Volt Dropper?

Yes, perfectly. Plug it into the Dropper's Anderson output and you have a 12V accessory socket for your gear, powered by the tool batteries you already own.

What can I run through it?

12V fridges, inflators, vacuums, pumps, LED lights and chargers. Your power source sets the limit. Through the Volt Dropper that is up to 10A continuous.

Is it fused?

This lead does not have its own fuse, so protection comes from your power source. The Volt Dropper has over-current and short-circuit protection built in. If you need a fused lead, the male version of this adapter has a built-in 20A fuse.
