Which battery should I pick?
Choose the brand of the 18V batteries you already own - the Mini slides straight on. It comes in Makita, Milwaukee, DeWalt and Ozito/Einhell, and each unit is brand-specific.
What can I charge with it?
Phones, tablets, GPS units, torches, headlamps, cameras, USB fans and other small USB devices - at camp or on the road. Use the calculator above to estimate charges from your battery.
Does it fast-charge?
Yes - it has USB-C Power Delivery and USB-A Quick Charge 3.0 for faster charging than standard USB outputs, up to 18W and two devices at once.
Do I need an inverter or any wiring?
No. Just clip in your 18V tool battery and plug in your device - no tools, wiring or installation required.
Will it drain my tool battery quickly?
Runtime depends on your battery’s Ah and what you’re charging. It’s ideal as a portable or backup power solution rather than a full battery-system replacement - a 5Ah pack will top up a phone several times over.
Does it charge the tool battery too?
No - the Mini is USB power out only. To recharge your tool battery from the car, take a look at the Volt Replenisher.
Can I mount it permanently?
Yes - it can be mounted on walls, roofs or drawer systems, or simply clipped to your belt for easy access.
