These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Max Voltage Store website and to any order you place with us. By using our site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to buy from us.
Products, pricing and availability
We try to keep product descriptions, images and prices accurate, but images are indicative and we may correct errors. Prices include GST where applicable and may change at any time. Products are subject to availability, and we may limit quantities or decline an order.
Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept and dispatch your order. We may cancel an order and give you a full refund, for example if there has been a pricing error, an item is out of stock, or we suspect fraud or misuse.
Payment
Payment is taken through our payment providers at checkout. By placing an order you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method.
Shipping and delivery
Orders are picked, packed and dispatched by our fulfilment partner, Future Fulfillment, in Sydney, NSW. Delivery times and costs are set out in our Shipping policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Returns, refunds and warranty
Returns and refunds are handled in line with our Refund policy. Every Volt product is backed by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects in normal use.
Safe use of our products
Our products convert and supply electrical power. You must use them in line with the supplied product manual and safety instructions, and must not exceed a product's rated specifications. Tools such as our runtime calculator provide estimates only; actual performance depends on your equipment, battery condition and conditions of use.
Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, images, product designs and the "Max Voltage", "MVS" and Volt range names, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse it without our written permission.
Third-party brands
Makita, Milwaukee, DeWalt, Ryobi, Ozito, Bosch, AEG, HiKOKI, Stanley, Black & Decker, WORX and other tool-brand names are the trademarks of their respective owners. Our products are designed to be compatible with these battery platforms, but we are independent and are not manufactured by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these companies. Brand names are used only to describe compatibility.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the site, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the goods or paying the cost of resupplying them.
Indemnity
You agree to reimburse us for any loss or claim arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of our products or site, to the extent permitted by law.
Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that state.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.
